Fishing: Miles Bay offers some of the finest fishing on Lake of the Woods. Several trophy fish are caught every summer, and there's always the aroma of fresh fish, frying in the air. The good thing about Miles Bay is the variety of species available. What other lake can you go to and catch Walleye, Crappie, Muskie, Northern, Bass and Perch all in the same day? Day trips to Whitefish Bay can also be arranged for some Lake Trout action. No matter what species you're after, you will be sure to have a more than enjoyable time finding them at Miles Bay Camp.
Ice fishing: Available from mid February until break-up. Crappie and Walleye are abundant only minutes from the camp, and Lakers are just a Quick snowmobile ride away. However you must have your own gear for our ice fishing trips. ie: Snowmobile, auger, rods, reels. Bait can be waiting for you when you get there upon request.
Guides: Guides are not standard at the camp, however they are available upon request.
From Baudette, MN: Cross the border to Rainy River, Ontario, Canada. Take Hwy 11 east to Sleeman, then take Hwy 621 to Morson. At the end of this road you will find the government dock where you can launch your boat and park for free.
